|Profiletext=Ing. Tony van der Hiele heeft haar Bachelor of Water Management aan de HZ afgerond in 2007. Tijdens haar studie heeft ze zich toegelegd op zoutwateraquacultuur. Sindsdien werkt ze part-time voor de onderzoeksgroep Aquaculture in Delta Areas, waar ze praktisch onderzoek doet en studenten begeleidt in toegepast onderzoek. Haar belangstelling ligt voornamelijk bij schelpdierkweektechnieken, draagkracht in schelpdierkweeksystemen, modelleren en de toepassing van zout grondwater in aquacultuur.

Tony van der Hiele is researcher at the research group Aquaculture in Delta areas at HZ University of Applied Sciences. She has a BSc diploma in Aquatic Eco-technology and a MSc in Environmental Sciences & Natural Resources.
