Medium and large scale morphology

Morphological development is measured by the combination of two innovative methods:

1. A standard drone is used to determine which changes in height can be observed when using the structure for motion technique, using a grid of flight discs measured with the dGPS as a reference object.

2. The extent to which a remote controlled boat can be used to measure sediment height is tested by equipping the boat with an acoustic SED sensor (see Soil Density) in combination with a GPS position logger.
