She graduated Water Management at HZ University of Applied Sciences in 2014 and decided to continue with a Master in Water Technology at Wetsus Academy. Towards obtaining her Master’s degree, she carried out her internship and final thesis related to Nereda®, a wastewater treatment technology developed by Royal HaskoningDHV.  The focus of the thesis was recovery of  ALE (alginate-like exopolysaccharides) from Nereda® excess sludge  via membrane filtration.
