|Summary=The aim is to apply MLS to test the potential of natural management solutions to improve protection and involving landowners, communities and partners in developing solutions (flood groups and local action plans) together to improve preparedness.
|Summary=Since the Tees Rivers Trust (TeRT) began operating in 2009, our projects working with farmers and landowners have been identified opportunities for soil protection through slowing overland flow and reducing run off.  FRAMES will enable the TeRT to further develop and focus its work on whole catchment scale solutions to flood alleviation and create examples of best practice that will encourage further take up of this approach, both in the Tees and beyond.

Objective: The aim is to apply MLS to test the potential of natural management solutions to improve protection and involving landowners, communities and partners in developing solutions (flood groups and local action plans) together to improve preparedness.
Flood risk: Predominantly fluvial and pluvial risk. Hard surfaces in urban areas and reduced number of gardens in favor of parking are exacerbating issues.
